Do you ever feel like the government takes too much of your time and money, and takes the enjoyment out of your life?

The Free Keene Fest is a public outreach festival held each Spring and Fall with the purpose of having fun while introducing new people to the ideas of liberty. Join us for live music and food while also learning about many different avenues to achieve more liberty in our lifetimes.

The event will include exhibitors such as:

  • There will also be a gambling table, balloon animals, custom-made jewelry, food and drinks, etc.

Fantastic Event!

The Spring 2010 Free Keene Fest was our best yet! Not only did we have more exhibitors, but we had many, many more visitors! At a busy part of the day, I looked around and roughly counted over 100 people in attendance, and I only knew about half of them as activists and participants! That means that more people are coming to meet us, to have fun, to learn about liberty.

Thanks so much to everyone who helped make this event happen - from those of you who lent equipment, to those who helped set it up, man tables, make signs, exhibit, perform, etc. It was a great day.

The Spring 2010 Free Keene Fest is POSTPONED!

The Spring 2010 Free Keene Fest has been postponed due to weather. It will now be held on Sunday, April 25 from 11:00a until 4:00p.

The FKF will happen on April 25 rain or shine! (so I hope it shines)

I'm very sorry for this inconvenience. :(

The Spring 2010 Free Keene Fest is coming soon: Sunday, April 18!

It's time to start planning. Actually, it's probably past time to start planning, but I was trying to see if anyone in the Keene area wanted to take over organizing this event and no one did, so I'm doing it again but I'm starting a little late.

LIberty Bus from Manchester to Keene

The Liberty Bus is planning a trip from Manchester to Keene for the Free Keene Fest on Sunday, October 18. They plan to arrive in Keene for the festival and leave to come home after the picnic, but they need a minimum of 12 commitments. Please let me know (admin@freekeenefest.com) if you'd like to commit or want details (like price and times) and I'll put you in touch with those responsible for the Liberty Bus.

The Fall 2009 Free Keene Fest will be on Sunday, October 18, 2009! The Keene Pumpkin Festival is the preceding Saturday, October 17.

Please participate in our forums to learn about the exhibitors and activities for the upcoming festival, to volunteer, or to make suggestions or requests.

Fantastic Event!

The Spring 2009 Free Keene Fest was a fantastic success! We had great weather again (despite the forecast predicting thunderstorms - again). Rumors of War and Josh Noone & the Federal Crime played during most of the event, drawing people in from the street. There were many more attendees than last time; Lauren counted 70 people while Josh Noone was playing. Donations were made to the Robin Hood Parking Meter fund, and postcards were written to Sam (still in jail after 41 days!). There were 3 people selling food and/or drinks - competition is great!

New Free Keene Fest website!

Thanks for visiting our new website! We're still building it, but we thought it was more important to get up as soon as possible since the next Free Keene Fest is Saturday, May 23. We'll be modifying the site (especially making it look better) in the near future.
