The Spring 2010 Free Keene Fest is coming!
The Spring 2010 Free Keene Fest is coming soon: Sunday, April 18!
It's time to start planning. Actually, it's probably past time to start planning, but I was trying to see if anyone in the Keene area wanted to take over organizing this event and no one did, so I'm doing it again but I'm starting a little late.
Please contact me (admin@freekeenefest.com or (248) NO-STATE {that's 248-667-8283}) if you would like to volunteer to be an exhibitor, or if you know a liberty-oriented organization that should be represented, or if you would like to sell something, or if you would like to perform music, or if you can volunteer your tables and chairs and gazebo-tents, or if you want to volunteer to put up flyers around Keene, or if you have any ideas or suggestions for this festival.
What time should the festival be? Should it last until 4:20, or otherwise be linked to the 420 event? Should we have a picnic afterwards (and what if it's a rainy day, again?)?
Thanks for your participation!
- Mike

POSTPONED!
The Spring 2010 Free Keene Fest has been postponed due to weather. It will now be held on Sunday, April 25 from 11:00a until 4:00p.
The FKF will happen on April 25 rain or shine! (so I hope it shines)
I'm very sorry for this inconvenience. :(
Liberty Bus!
The Liberty Bus will be making the journey from Manchester to the Free Keene Fest! Round-trip bus fare is only $10! They need a minimum of 12 passengers or they won't make enough to cover their costs - so sign up now! So far, 6 spots have been spoken for.
Contact Mark Warden (or me) if you want to reserve your spot on the party-ing-est Liberty Bus ever, to get to the Free Keene Fest on April 18.
Re: rainy day
Have picnic plans with alternate rainy day plans in some indoor location, perhaps.

no picnic?
I wasn't going to plan a picnic this time. I figured it's so easy to do (we just go to WalMart and buy some hot dogs and sodas), we could just do it if enough people want to at the time. As for an indoor rainy-day backup plan, I don't want to bother for the festival (except we should have a canopy ready for the bands) and if it's raining then I don't think enough people will want to have a picnic - even an indoor picnic. Or, if it rains, maybe we could have a party at someones house or something.
